Residency

Every year in January, while the hotel is closed for the winter, the “SOLEIL D’HIVER” (Winter Sun) residency takes place. Dedicated to photography and writing, it gives 4 artists the opportunity to develop a project to start the year. 3 photographers and 1 writer stay on the 3rd floor of the hotel, with Le Lavandou as a new territory for observation, wandering and stories that inspire creation.

At the end of each cycle, each photographer is given a floor to exhibit 8 selected prints. The writer’s project also becomes a publication available to everyone in the lobby and on this website.
